Finished!!!

I arrived at the Eiffel Tower at 3:00pm on the 1^st May having set off from The Marble Arch in London at 3:20pm on the 28^th April. The total distance was 276 miles (440km)

Easter Break

I have been away all last week skiing in Italy, and after a days rest I was off again for three days doing my Silver Duke of Edinburgh's expedition. I am glad to come back with no injuries and will be back on the bike tomorrow.
I have had an interview as well as some photos taken by the messenger and look forward to seeing an article about my ride soon.

Updates

I was happy with my two wins on both last Saturday and Sunday, I was well suported by my Medway Velo team mate Tyler Lemmon. I can feel I have progressed a lot from last year thanks to all the time I have spent on the turbo trainer.

It's suddenly dawned on me that it is less than a month until my ride, got the ferry booked now thanks to Robert Philbrook. I am still hoping to get some kit sponsorship to look extra smart on my ride. Anyone interested in sponsoring me will have their name shown across south-east England and onto France, I take size small!

I have started to plan a charity barbecue for the summer to raise money funds so I'll keep information posted about that as well.

News

Went out today as well as yesterday in the improving weather, I'll be happy if its like it was today when I go to France. Been asked by Kent Messenger to do some photos for an article whcih is great news. Looking forward to my first race of the season next weekend as well.

Progress

Starting to notice an improvement in my fitness after last week's training, tested out a CNP gel on Saturday and they should do fine for London to Paris. Thanks to Michael at CNP Professional for sorting it for me - http://www.cnpprofessional.co.uk/ check them out!

CNP Professional

I was very glad to receive a special delivery containing many CNP Professional energy products to fuel me on my ride. Club Run

Went on a very gritty and wet ride today. About 60 miles containing lots of hills - Molash wasn't too fun! Surprisingly puncture free until nearing the end when I managed to puncture at the end of Stede Hill. Not the most fun of rides, but at least it was good training!

A Good Weekend

Had an excellent time at the Medway Velo Club Dinner and managed to recieve lots of sponsor money and money from selling Bike-Pure Products, thanks to Victory Cycles. A big thank you to all being very generous. This morning I went on a fantastic ride with pro cyclist Dean Downing with a well deserved café stop at Bredgar. Good inspiration!

Bad Weather

Awful wether stopped me going out this morning but to compensate I'll have an hour on the turbo trainer this afternoon before going to the Medway Velo Club Dinner - looking forward to meeting Dean Downing there!

Turbo Time!

Was having a workout on the turbo trainer Friday evening when my back wheel suddenly went flat. Contemplated going out this morning but was put off by the dismal weather - I hope it's better than this by April!

Starting Out

I am a 15 year old student at Borden Grammar School in Kent. I am planning to go on a  month long expedition to Tanzania to climb Mt.
Kilimanjaro and help rebuild a primary school, however to do this I need to
raise £4K to cover trip costs.

 

In April I am going to cycle from London to Paris.

 

I am currently training hard on my bike and working hard trying to recruit sponsors, people are being very generous but I need to keep  up the momentum.
